Operations and assets

The company started operations of the Bahia Asset in 2000, through a production contract with a risk clause signed with Petrobras.

It expanded its presence with the acquisition of five additional concessions, currently operated by its subsidiary Recôncavo ECP.

It develops innovative projects, such as secondary recovery by water injection and drilling wells for mesh densification, optimizing productivity and extending the useful life of fields.

It has more than 23 million barrels of oil equivalent in proven gross reserves.

It maintains a commitment to operational efficiency, innovation and sustainability in the oil and gas sector.

The company began operations on December 10, 2019, with the completion of the first transaction of Project Topázio, part of Petrobras' onshore asset divestment program, initiated in 2016.

The complex is strategically located 50 km south of Mossoró and covers a significant area of the Potiguar Basin.

The fields have already reached a joint historical production of more than 17,000 barrels/day of oil and 900,000 cubic meters/day of natural gas, extracted from more than 700 wells.

PetroReconcavo has been reactivating idle wells, reopening zones, drilling new wells, developing water injection projects and modernizing surface facilities.
